Bad Boys: Ride or Die sees Will Smith and Martin Lawrence’s lawman characters battle their contemporaries in a gripping sequel. The final trailer for the upcoming buddy cop action film sees the titular duo face off against dirty cops.

Sony Pictures released the latest Ride or Die preview on May 16, seeing Smith and Lawrence, portraying Detective Lieutenant Mike Lowrey and Detective Lieutenant Marcus Burnett respectively, run roughshod throughout the Miami streets as they try to eradicate crime. Marcus warns Mike, “We’re gonna be tested,” but assures him, “Just know, we’re good,” as they prepare for arguably their biggest battle. The trailer sets up the recently-teased plot, which sees the late Captain Howard (Joe Pantoliano) tell Mike and Marcus in a recorded video that one of his fellow officers was behind his death and he was being framed for a crime he never committed. Mike and Marcus are then the target of the police as their careers and lives face serious jeopardy.
